Why I'm running
Children and young people are close to my heart. At Versöhnungskirche Plauen, our community educator creates spaces where children experience acceptance, discover their gifts and get to know Jesus.
That important role is now at risk. This is why I'm running a marathon, 42.195 kilometres, to help secure this work and give it a future.
Every kilometre stands for the many children who can be reached, encouraged and accompanied. Thank you for running this distance with me.

Who receives my money?
Your donation goes to Förderverein Versöhnungskirche Plauen e. V. It is used exclusively for the community educator role and Christian work with children. Not for me.
Do I get a donation receipt?
Yes. The association issues a receipt on request. Just add your address to the payment reference, or get in touch with us.
Do I have to give per kilometre?
No. The calculator is only a suggestion that makes the distance tangible. You can give a fixed amount at any time, as large or as small as you like.
What if you don't finish the marathon?
Your donation still reaches the children in full. It does not depend on my finishing time, but on the work that needs to continue.
